Nigar Khan makes a Lara Croft comeback

The once deported Nigar Khan is all set to make a comeback with her new film Jaan-Leva. Actually this is the same two year old film she was shooting for before being deported from India that was originally titled Hello Kaun Hai? and was being directed by Rakesh Sawant, Rakhi Sawant’s brother (no the film doesn’t star Rakhi).The poster of the film seems to be inspired by Lara Croft (inspired?? ). Well looks like our industry is not only cloning films but the looks of actors too. Creativity in Bollywood is certainly in trouble. It’s currently all about hiding one's sources. Unfortunately, the sources aren't hidden any more when you have posters like these.
Interestingly not many might remember but the original poster design of this movie (when it was titled Hello? Kaun Hai) showed Nigar Khan in a semi-nude pose with only her bare essentials being covered by some flower petals. Again this poster design was lifted from the Oscar winner Hollywood film American Beauty.

'Rakhi Sawant should be whacked'

New Delhi: The real side of reality TV is getting darker by the day. And now with the ousted housemates of Big Boss sharing their experiences, and the dirty linen of the house is being washed in the open.
“There were many vulgar remarks about me – like there is no man in my life, yeh puja karti hai," said former Big Boss contestant Roopali Ganguly.
But now Roopali Ganguly, the latest one to be voted out from the popular reality show big boss is relived. And as Ganguly recounts her stay at the show one name that she'll never forget is Rakhi Sawant.
“Rakhi Sawant is an angel – no I can never say that. She should be whacked...she is the most disgusting, selfish woman I have met,” said Ganguly.
It really doesn't matter what Ganguly thinks, as the popularity of the item girl is increasing by leaps and bounds and it's Sawant who is grabbing all the eyeballs and the TRPs as well.
“Yes it can be manipulated,” said Ganguly.
But how real are these reality shows? “Everyone is acting,” replied Ganguly.
At least someone finally got real and said it – but with racist remarks about Shilpa Shetty creating ripples across the UK, it looks like the real world of reality shows is getting murkier by the day.
“She (Shilpa) is living with people with no common ground. it says a lot about the people she is living with,” said Ganguly.
However, with the soaring TRPs of both the shows it seems like the channels are having the last laugh.

Rakhi Sawant, the item gal of 2007!

It’s difficult to predict who the item girl of 2007 will be.
In 2006, besides specialist item gals, leading ladies like Kareena Kapoor (Don), Dia Mirza (Phir Hera Pheri) have done raunchy item numbers and received appreciations also.
As per trade analysts, in 2007 there will be more leading ladies in the race of hot item gals.
So predicting who will be the item gal of 2007 has least chance to become true.
Still we approached some Bollywood biggies to name the item gal, who may take audiences by storm with her bold moves in 2007 and almost everybody took sultry Rakhi Sawant’s name as the next big thing in item dance.

Mika had kissed me once before...

Rakhi Sawant has accused Daler Mahendi’s brother Mika of sexual assault at his birthday bash on Sunday. There’s more to this jhagda than meets the eye. Given Rakhi’s history, it could all be a publicity stunt.

The big question is, is Mika a victim or is he party to the plan? If Mika has kissed her against her will before and they remained friends, what’s different this time? Rakhi declares she will forgive him if he publicly apologises.

So don’t be surprised if they turn friends a week, fornight or a month from now. Meanwhile this is what they have to say...

According to Rakhi, “Mika has kissed me forcibly, once before this. I was dancing on an awards nite in Punjab, and he came on stage and kissed me. At the time, I forgave him because he was a friend.

Coming to what happened at Mika’s birthday party, I introducing the director of my music video, Deepti Nagia, to him, but he started smooching me. He smooched me twice. Usne mera gala pakda aur bahut zor se kiss kiya. He bit my lower lip and broke my ear-ring. I don’t know why he did this to me again.”

What happened after

“I never left the party. I did go down for a while, but that was simply because I was crying after the incident and I got a shirt for myself because I wanted to go to the cops; I was wearing an outfit that I couldn’t have gone to the police station in. It was a very sexy backless dress.

This time, I couldn’t forgive him. What he did is unpardonable. I came back to the party and asked him to apologise in front of everyone. Instead, his bodyguards began beating up my rakhi brother Sheizwood. He himself ordered the bodyguards to do this.

The unpleasant incident did not happen after 3 am, but soon after the cake was cut. I have filed an FIR at the Oshiwara police station for sexual assault. I will withdraw my complaint only if he renders a public apology. Private maafi nahin chalegi.”

Mika says, “I did not kiss Rakhi Sawant in Punjab. Such things cannot be done in Punjab, where I not even release my video Something Something on the local channels there because it is bold. It was Rakhi who’d beckoned me to join her. I did and we simply danced.

As for what happened yesterday at Someplace Else, I am simply shocked. I am being blamed simply because I was the host. I think Rakhi has engineered a publicity stunt. I never kissed her on the lips. I kissed her but only on the cheek. I think Sheizwood had a problem when he noticed this. This happened around midnight.”

What happened after

“After some time, Rakhi left the place. Little later, she changed her dress and came back with Sheizwood and few other guys. After some time, I noticed that Sheizwood was being beaten up by a bunch of people. The fight happened much later, somewhere around 3 am.

Mind you, the guys who were beating up Sheizwood were not my bodyguards. In fact, I tried to save the situation by stopping the fight. Suddenly, I heard Rakhi screaming that I had smooched her on the lips.”
